This is an extremely rare species, and not much documented information can be found. Found in the Lesser Sunda Islands as a large sized, hot growing monopodial epiphyte with an elongate, terete, branching stems carrying terete, distichously, alternate, erect to rather sharply ascending leaves that blooms in the spring and summer on an axillary. The terete leaves also have a distinctive kink (constriction) near the tip of the sharp pointed leaf. Flowers are quite long-lasting and are about 3-3.5" in diameter and blooms in clusters. Provide lots of light to bloom well and a mature plant will flower continuously. You are browsing on a blooming size plant with, 3 established cuttings. These plants are at least 3 years old and are perfect for your vanda collection!
